How long does an automated wash take?
Our Express Wash takes as little as 5 minutes. The Premium Shine runs 12–15 minutes. Ceramic Coating Wash takes approximately 20 minutes. You can check live queue times on our app before arriving.
Is the automated wash safe for all vehicles?
Yes. Our sensor-calibrated robotic system handles all standard vehicles from small hatchbacks to large SUVs. We have special protocols for low-profile vehicles, luxury cars with sensitive bodywork, and vehicles with roof racks. Please inform our staff before entry if your vehicle has any modifications.
Do you use eco-friendly cleaning products?
Absolutely. All our detergents and foam conditioners are pH-balanced, biodegradable, and free from harsh solvents. Our closed-loop water recycling system reuses up to 80% of water per wash cycle, making Washtron one of the most environmentally responsible car wash operations in Sri Lanka.
Can I wash my car during heavy rain or strong sunlight?
Yes to both! Our fully covered facility means weather never disrupts your wash. In fact, washing after rain removes the contaminants deposited by rainwater. Avoid washing in direct sunlight immediately after — our facility's shaded exit area allows your car to cool before driving out.
How do I book a wash?
You can book in three ways: (1) Walk in and select your package at our automated kiosk, (2) Book online via our website contact form, or (3) Use the Washtron iOS or Android app for the fastest experience. App bookings also unlock loyalty rewards and priority lane access for subscribers.
Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?
Yes. Bookings can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 2 hours before your appointment via the app or by calling +94 774 910 630. Cancellations made less than 2 hours in advance will retain a credit balance in your app wallet valid for 60 days.
What is included in the Monthly Subscription?
The Ultimate Monthly plan (LKR 9,999/month) includes: unlimited Express Washes for the entire month, 2 complimentary Premium Shine washes, priority lane access at all times, exclusive app-based slot booking, and access to our dedicated member support line. You can cancel anytime with 14 days' notice.
What happens if I'm not satisfied with my wash?
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If your vehicle doesn't meet our quality standard, simply speak to our on-site manager or contact us within 24 hours and we will re-wash your vehicle free of charge — no questions asked.
How does the Ceramic Coating Wash protect my car?
Our automated ceramic coating process applies a SiO2 (silicon dioxide) infused sealant to all painted panels. The coating bonds to your paintwork at a molecular level, creating a hydrophobic surface that repels water, dirt, and UV rays for up to 90 days. It's not a replacement for professional paint correction but significantly extends the life of your existing paintwork.
Do you accept cash and card payments?
Yes. Our kiosks accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, and Lanka QR. The Washtron app also supports LankaQR, online banking, and stored wallet balance for seamless cashless payments.
